Half Shaft Flange Nut Tightening Torque
Nyloc nut, Part No. 138563: Tighten to 120 lb./ft.
Castellated nut, Part. No. 21 A/79: Tighten to 90 lb./ft. and examine for alignment of one of the two holes in the axle shaft with slots in the nut castellation. Where the other slots do not align with a shaft hole, further tighten the nut to attain proper alignment with the nearest slots. DO NOT BACK OFF THE NUT TO OBTAIN ALIGNMENT.
