Gearboxes Thrust Washers -All

Instances have been reported where it has not been possible to fit the new six-splined thrust washer to the earlier type mainshaft; and, if this problem is experiences, it will necessitate the fitment of a new gearbox mainshaft.

The problem, when encountered, will apply only to gearboxes built prior to the incorporation of the new thrust washer referred to in service bulletin 73-D-1.
