Issued by the Market Promotion &
Training Department, this book is apparently a
pocket manual that accompanied a training film
strip for factory mechanics describing specs and
rebuild processes of Herald and early Spitfire
engines. At the end of the chapters there are
questions with answers for the reader similar to a
grade school textbook.
Martin Hirst sent me this and other manuals a
while back and I have just now started converting
them to PDF. Hopefully soon I can start converting
the others. They all have many fingerprints &
coffee stains. Although there are no dates, my
guess is they were issued in early 1963.
The file is 1.1 Mb so download will be slow. Also, set your browser to save the file to your hard drive for later reference or Mac: hold down the control button and choose "save link as..." or "download link to disk." Windows: left click (I think) mouse and save to your hard drive.
